Advocacy
All too often Sephardic stories and culture are left out of secular and religious education. At Somos Judios, we work to fight these disparities by advocating for changes in curricula at schools, synagogues, and youth groups.
Education
Somos Judios funds and creates educational experiences that highlight the Sephardic experience in America. We work to create engaging presentations and events to ensure that Sephardic traditions and culture are remembered.
Charity
We work to allow all people to experience Sephardic culture by using charity to ensure the survival of Sephardic institutions and continued Jewish education for all.
Over $10,000 raised since 2024.
Over 500 students and adults reached through presentations at MCPS high schools, private high schools, synagogues, and institutions like the Capital Jewish Museum.
Formed key, long-term partnerships with the Dr. Cyrus Katzen Foundation and Camp Shoresh.
